Poolside Painting
Fairlawn Country Club was lush green with landscaping at its peak when Bumble Bree Art held a painting class by the pool. Some of the guests had never even picked up a brush and some had a wealth of art experience. This is the right painting for that occasion, since the wine glass and bottle painting can be beautiful just following the steps or customized with climbing grapevines and shading. Our painters did exceedingly well and stayed for the sunset. I was delighted tha

Summer Murals
The other side of Bumble Bree Art is where I get the chance to really relax into my practice. Murals and Custom Canvases. Not only do I sell art that you may not have designed, but I produce a lot of art that you can be involved in planning. One way is to have a custom mural on your wall. This art is my favorite to produce because the impact is so huge. My first high school started this fire in me long ago when I gained permission to window paint angels and Whos from Whov

Buzzing at the Wine Mill
I love to visit with groups that are friends for various reasons - church groups, mom groups, couple friends, bachelorette parties, old high school buddies, sorority sisters, families, etc. There is always a reason to assemble and paint together. The Wine Mill is a venue where we enjoy painting in the upstairs loft. For this sunflower duo I had the pleasure of painting with the Summit County Beekeepers. Something I know little about, the beekeepers have an entire website

Kylie Rose Kickin' Cancer
I had the honor of collaborating with Kylie's grandpa, Tim Truax, to create a book that shares the journey of a perfect, sweet little girl and her battle with cancer. The name of the book is Kylie Rose Kickin' Cancer. It is available for purchase on Amazon. The book details her journey as Kylie fought her way through months of cancer treatment. The Jacobs (Eric, Carrie, Kylie, Emmie, Blake) are a family I've known for years. They handled this situation so gracefully, and

Painting in the Rain
There is a first time for everything. Although I have walked into or left venues in rain, I've never actually painted in the rain. When Nancy set up her painting party with her friends on her sprawling patio, the radar looked clear. But as luck would have it, the raindrops started to fall right when we grabbed our brushes. Off and on for the rest of the evening, skies gave us showers. Not only did we have more fun than we expected, but the paintings were weather-appropri

Kelci's Debut
Over the past year I have been mentoring a friend of mine, Kelci Rayl to be a part of my artist team at Bumble Bree Art. I am happy to announce that she officially held her first, solo Wine and Paint party last evening, and it was a success! I knew it would be. Kelci is a talented and personable artist with a bright future at Bumble Bree Art. I am so excited for her and for our partnership. Check out these pictures from her first party. Great job Kelci! #Paintingclass #winepa
