There is a first time for everything. Although I have walked into or left venues in rain, I've never actually painted in the rain. When Nancy set up her painting party with her friends on her sprawling patio, the radar looked clear. But as luck would have it, the raindrops started to fall right when we grabbed our brushes. Off and on for the rest of the evening, skies gave us showers. Not only did we have more fun than we expected, but the paintings were weather-appropriate too. Our umbrellas protected our lady strolling along the street of our canvas and the canopies shielded us as we completed our artwork. Eventually the showers subsided but I'm proud of these women for tackling one of the harder class concepts in these conditions. Bravo!
